LION Chargers

Century LION is the next generation of chargers. Incorporating a specialised charging algorithm, high efficiency power conversion and integrated queuing facilities, the MP LION is industry leading for all different chemistry of Lithium batteries.

The microprocessor using a Century specified algorithm can optimise charging on a range of battery types. This optimisation has the benefit of delivering a fully charged battery quicker while minimising the effects that standard chargers can have on batteries.

The use of high frequency power conversion has the effect of reducing the amount of energy consumed for charging, and providing a greater level of control of the power output. This technology also has the advantage of being lighter weight to conventional thyristor controlled chargers. This allows operators to have the option of wall mounting these chargers, reducing the possible risk of impact from other equipment, and improving the use of space.

The and Lion chargers can communicate through CAN, ethernet, radio and have BMS and DPL control as standard. It also comes with single I/O cards used for various functions. This makes the battery chargers versatile and gives them possibility to communicate with most systems. All chargers are compatible with the GET system, helping you to optimize your operations through online monitoring and intelligent data analysis.
